Inspiring Museums

Hello everyone,
I desperately needed to go to the V&A museum in London to take a few pictures of some of the amazing garments displayed in their fashion section. Around June last year, my school took us on a trip here so we could get inspired for our textiles projects. I remember taking loads of pictures of all the garments but I can't for the life of me remember where I've put the memory card that had all those beautiful pictures. Now its deadline time and I obviously needed those pictures to include in my work. It was nothing to panic about because I go to London every other week to visit my mum. I decided to drag her along with me yesterday so I could re-take all the images. Very frustrating but I didn't mind too much because I love the V&A. Now, this is quite funny because I never used to be the kinda person that visited museums. I'd find it boring and full of old people, but recently I've really been enjoying historical museums because I've realised that you can learn so much from very visit. Our 'educational trip' turned into a little mummy and daughter day. We walked all around the museum and  even had the traditional tea and scone there. We then decided that we should probably hop across to the Natural History Museum as its right next to the V&A, and also because mum had never been there before.

Here are a few photos of our day out to London museums.

What did you get up to this weekend? I definitely had loads of fun hanging out with mother dearest.
