This post is quite hypocritical, as over the last few years, as the 'stripe' has slowly come back into fashion, I have been the first one to critic it. I think this definitely has something to do with my mother wearing it every other day. If you open her closet, you'll mostly find only stripes, in different colours or designs. However, recently I have slowly let myself fall in love with the trend. I've caught myself going back to the same old striped tops in my wardrobe. So this time, when I was back in India, I took the one and only stripe-legend herself, to go shopping with me at Zara. This has become one of my staple outfits throughout January and going into February. Everyone around my has gotten sick of this outfit but me. I had to share my obsession with this outfit here.

Stripped jeans when it started was a huge hit. Now, it's no longer a trend. These days we make fun of those days when we wore them.
ReplyDeleteI don't know whether girls would notice this but you could replace mentioning of nailpolish and lipstick with the jewellery and shoes you're wearing. Dress, shoes and jewellery are the ones I think most of the viewers would notice.
Next time when you do the outfit post, stand up in your pictures to get detailed look on your wardrobe dresses.
